Hey you guys,
Welcome to a new week, a new month and the countdown to holidays and such. I don’t know about you but once my birthday month is over and we hit October it just seems like downhill till holidays. At least there is something to look forward to now 😛 Did you have a good weekend? I hope so, they seem to go so quick too. I don’t even have exciting news from the weekend. You’ll just have to tell me yours instead.
Time for week #40 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week. Here is the list of prompts and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts. I hope you’ll join in.
The prompt this week is pink and it is the most perfect prompt you will ever find :D. As usual, I had a million ways to go. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Dance baby on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then did a sponged gradient on my ring and middle finger using China Glaze – Dance baby and China Glaze – Concrete catwalk. I looooooved this combo but I wasn’t done! I then stamped over the gradient using Lina Spring 1 and Mundo de Unas – Barbie. I topcoated and ta-daaaa!
What do you think? I really liked how this ended up. I was originally going to do something else over the gradient but I think the pink flowers definitely worked well. Also….PINK! These plates though! I heart them very very very much!
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
You only used two pinks? I expected at least five different polishes for this prompt 😉
Seriously though, it’s a good thing my nieces aren’t around or I would have two requests (read: demands) for this manicure. It’s so cute!

When I read your comment I laughed out loud. When I was doing this I thought that maybe is should I be using more pinks. 😀
Can I say that I LOVE your nieces. It is probably the biggest compliment!!
