Hello hello,
Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? What did you get up to? I have a LOT of polishes to swatch so that is pretty much all I did and I am not even done yet. I am very excited to show you the new polishes so let’s hope I can knock them out quick sticks.
Right now though, it is time for week #42 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week. Here is the list of prompts and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts. I hope you’ll join in.
The prompt this week is Food. Endless options and way too many ideas. I don’t know if I’ve ever done strawberry nails so this had to be the best time to do it. Let me show you,
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my middle and ring fingers and 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Shine Annie and then left that all to dry while I made the decals. I stamped using BP-X04 and Mundo de unas – Black. I filled in the berries using Sinful Colors – Shine Annie and Essence – Beijos de Brazil for the leaves. Once they were dry I applied them on the white nails. Topcoated and there be berries!
What do you think? It counts as food right? Strawberries are my favourite fruit (or at least one of) and I love strawberry flavoured stuff too. How gorgeous is this red polish? It really makes for juicy strawberries. I quite like how this turned out. What is your favourite food? I also considered doing bacon nails, popcorn nails, pizza nails and chocolate nails but somehow strawberries just seemed easier 😛
Thanks for reading,
Renita
They look very tasty! Lol I would like to see bacon nails when you do them

I think I should just have bacon sandwiches every day instead 😛
Thank you so much.

Ohhhh… you could have done chocolate covered strawberries! That’s just about my favorite sort-of-not-too-unhealthy snack 😉
But these look cute as well, definitely summer-y!

Ohhhhhh I love chocolate covered strawberries!! I always recommend them when someone wants to do something with strawberries. I should’ve done that.
Thank you!
Juanita
They look juicy!

Makes you crave strawberries right?
