It’s finally weekend! Phew! This has been a long week with long days. Luckily it hasn’t been a bad week so there is that. How was your week? This week we added an extra day to our gym routine AND it has been super hot. What a combo. I’m already wishing for next winter.
So the title of this post might be a little dumb but I just couldn’t think of anything else to title it. And it kinda feels like flowers in a forest of green right? Right? Ok maybe not, but let me show you anyway.
On my middle and ring finger I started with 2 coats of Pure Ice – Saddle me up. On my pinky and index I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black. Once everything was dry I stamped on my middle and index using Lina Spring 01 plate and Mundo de Unas – Military green. I stamped the leaf image hoping it would be a bit subtle but still visible. I then stamped flowers randomly using the same plate and Mundo de Unas – Barbie, Mundo de Unas – Tutti and Mundo de Unas – Tulip. I wanted the flowers to look like they came out of the leaves. I topcoated the stamped nails and then used a matte topcoat on my pinky and index.
What do you think? Does it work? I wish the leaves were a little more visible behind the flowers but other than that I don’t hate it. I actually really like the colour combinations and I think the flowers are quite unique as well. How gorgeous is that green shimmery goodness. I have a swatch for you
Pure Ice – Saddle me up
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is a light green base packed with metallic green and a few gold glitters. I was surprised at the opacity of this as I initially thought it might be more topper like. It’s really quite beautiful and a stunning formula too. It’s super shiny and sparkly.
