Mer-mazing – More secret santa spoils

Having a good week so far? In just a few days it will be December! Just a blink and the months have gone by. Wowzer! At least now we can start counting down to leave and holidays and even more relaxing (that doesn’t really happen but we pretend so anyway).

Yup, I am STILL showing off some of my Secret Santa spoils. When I saw these polishes together the first thing I thought to was ocean / mermaid and then I remembered I had this plate and I knew what I had to do. Let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of Salon Perfect – Bermuda Baby (from my secret santa box) on my ring and middle fingers and 3 coats of KB Shimmer – Show me the Mahi (from my secret santa box) on my pinky and index nails. I left this to dry completely before stamping. I stamped the mermaid scales on my middle finger using Color Club – Over the moon and the double stamped using Mundo de Unas – Black. I stamped the same scales on my pinky and index again and on my ring finger I stamped the ‘I am mer-mazing” stamp and added a little mermaid as well. All the stamping was done from the Lina – Born to sail 02 plate. I topcoated and that was that.

What do you think? Do you also think these polishes together just scream mermaid and ocean? Also, how gorgeous are these polishes? I have some swatches for you as well.

Salon perfect – Bermuda baby

This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a turquoise with a blue shimmer and it dries matte. The shimmer does have a bit of a green shift and at a specific angle I swear it looks like a gradient. The formula is beautiful it applies easily with great opacity. The brush is a bit on the thinner side so the added strokes does leave a bit of a line behind if you’re not fast enough. I love the matte finish but with a topcoat the shimmer really comes alive.

KB Shimmer – Show me the Mahi

This is 3 coats with topcoat. This is a blue jelly polish loaded with glitters. There are lime and teal holo glitter with beautiful colour shifting glitters too. It’s the colour shifting glitter that really wowed me. You can see the shift of these big glitters in the bottle shots above but I have 2 macros where you can see the shift beautifully as well as all the other glitter. The glitter shifts from gold / green to an orange / red. The polish is beautiful and applies easily and beautifully too. I am in love with this polish!
