Have you had a good week? It’s been a long one. There are some sniffles and coughing happening in this house and I am hoping and crossing ALL my bits that everyone manages to shake it soon. I have also gone through my stamping plates and made notes of which ones have been used and I am now going to make it my mission to use every single stamping plate at least once. That of course means you can look forward to a LOT of stamping 😉 Tell me all about your week?
I am showing off some more of my Secret santa spoils today. I had so much fun doing this (even if it didn’t turn out perfectly) and I can’t wait to play with it some more. To start with, in my box I received the UberChic – Unicorn love stamping plate. You better believe this will be a HUGE favourite! Let me show you what I did.
First off, I started with 2 coats of Glisten & Glow – A little more altitude on all my nails. How gorgeous is this? I have swatches and more later. Once this was dry I started with the stamping. I stamped the 2 unicorns and filled them in using China Glaze – I sea ponies for their bodies. I used China Glaze – You drive me coconuts and China Glaze – That’s shore bright for the mane, tails and feet I then applied the one unicorn to my index and the puking unicorn to my middle nail. I then stamped the ‘puking’ part with Mundo de Unas – Reddish, green and purple as a gradient. I then added a few pieces of holo glitter from JT One – #Prom. On my ring finger I stamped the “Eat glitter puke rainbows” saying using Mundo de Unas – Black and then I added some more of the holo glitter from JT One – #Prom around it. On my pinky I stamped the layered rainbow using Mundo de Unas – Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Geranium and Reddish. I then stamped a cloud in the corner using Mundo de Unas – White. I didn’t do such a great job with the rainbow but next time will be better when I use a better clear stamper with no distortion 😉 I topcoated and couldn’t stop staring.
What do you think? Do you have any Uberchic stamping plates? They are all so stunning and I really wouldn’t mind grabbing a whole bunch more. I really had so much fun doing this even though it wasn’t perfect and I made a few mistakes. I love this and I can’t wait to use the plate again. Not to mention, how gorgeous is the polish. Glisten & Glow – A little more altitude
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is described as a light lilac holo but it is very pink toned which makes it perfect for me. It’s absolutely stunning and applied beautifully too. This is my first Glisten & Glow and I am already a fan.
