Hey hey,
Happy Friday! Are you on holiday yet? Are you excited about the holidays? I am quite. Just to relax and do nothing. I have decided to go on blog holiday for 2 weeks as well but I will still be posting my #52weekchallenge, Tuesday Stamping and Friday Triad posts. So there will still be posts but I will be back on the week of 8 Jan 2018 with normal scheduling!
I wasn’t really planning on doing all that much Christmas nail art but I figured one or two should at least see the light of day. Once I started thinking of ideas, I couldn’t stop. I had so many things I wanted to try. Lucky – or unlucky – for you, you get to see them all. Starting today. So let me show you what I did,
On my index, middle and pinky fingers I used 2 coats of Pure Ice – Hit the floor and on my ring finger I used 2 coats of Nubar – Greener. Once everything was completely dry I went to work with stamping. On my pinky and ring finger I stamped the starry garland image from BPX-L008 and Mundo de unas – Gold. On my index and middle finger I stamped using the Christmas tree on the same plate and Colour Alike – Sour jelly. I then used a regular topcoat on the trees and placed gold holo glitter pieces on the spots of the image where there were baubles. I then topcoated everything and voila!
What do you think? I fell in love with the little christmas trees and I think the glitter, gold and green was such a good combo with the glittery red. I was worried the trees wouldn’t show up enough on the red but I think it’s ok. What do you think?
Thanks for reading,
Cindi
I love this!

Thank you so much Cindi x

So cute! I wouldn’t call those trees small though, I don’t think I would be able to fit them on my nails. Which is actually quite sad because I would love to be able to use that image 😉

Thanks so much.
I was actually concerned about the tree fitting on my nail because I don’t consider my nail beds to be long and only really when my nails are long can I play with big images. But the trees worked really well. I am a huge fan of this plate 😉
