52 week nail art challenge – Week 52: Christmas

Hey lovelies,

Merry Christmas!  I hope your holidays are spent with loved ones, surrounded by love and filled with joy and peace! If you’re travelling, please be safe out there!

Ta-daaaaa…..it’s the final week of the challenge!  It is week #52 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio   I have had so much fun doing this challenge you guys.  If you’re looking for a fun challenge with a wide variety of prompts and very little restrictions, please feel free to join in.  This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except  this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week.  You can also interpret the prompt any way you’d like. Here is the list of prompts for 2018 and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts.

Obviously, this week the prompt is Christmas and I have some fun and sparkly Christmas nails to show you.

I started with 2 coats of Wet n Wild – Break the ice on my index, middle and pinky and 3 coats of Pure Ice – Bare it all on my ring finger. Once everything was dry I stamped on my pinky, middle and index first using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Colour Alike – Cherry lollipop and then I stamped the thinner lines using the same plate and Colour Alike – Sour jelly. I wish I had done a better job at stamper straighter lines though ;). On my ring finger I stamped the mistletoe using the same polishes and BPX-L008.  I topcoated everything and ta-daa!

What do you think?  I quite liked the very christmassy candy cane and mistletoe look.  I wish the lines were straighter but otherwise I really like it.  I hope you do too.
