Happy Monday! Happy back to work. Happy ‘all the holidays are over’ day! I have had a great break and I hope you have too. Of course I still did a lot and was busy but it was nice to just feel the holiday spirit. I am glad to get back to normal scheduling as well so this will be my first full week back. Hope you enjoy!
Here go with another week of #52weeknailchallenge. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is water marble. So early in the year and I am already feeling the pressure 😛 Anyhoo, never one to back away from a challenge, I did manage something. Let me show you what I did.
In my index and middle fingers I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and on my ring and pinky I used 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black. Once everything was completely dry I started with the marble on my index and pinky. I used China Glaze – DJ Blue my mind, China Glaze – Glow with the flow and China Glaze – Home sweet house music. I had really hoped for a better marble or even just a clearer image but alas, this is what I was left with :P. Once the marble was done, I topcoated and that was that.
My biggest desire is to be able to get proper, decent images when I water marble. As much as I want to stick to water marble stamping plates, I am going to have to keep trying till I nail it. Otherwise, I did like the colours even though they were much brighter (neon) in real life. What do you think? How do you feel about water marble?

Cant tell you how much I tried the water marbling yesterday, just upset myself. Went with stickers in the end ;-D
