Hey
Happy Friday! Did you have a good week? I didn’t have a bad week but let me just say, I am very glad it is time for the weekend 😉 What are you up to this weekend?
I love nude polishes. OK I love all polish but I just can’t seem to get enough of nude polishes. I bought the China Glaze – Shades of nude collection when it came out and for a split second I was worried that it was a silly purchase considering all the nudes. It didn’t last long because I have since fallen in love over and over. I have probably used the collection more than any other collection (as a whole) and it really is the most versatile burn of nudes ever. Of course, that also means you get to see a lot of nail art with nude polishes and today is one of those days. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 1 coat of China Glaze – Pixilated on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then did a vertical gradient using China Glaze – Pixilated and China Glaze – Head to taupe. Once that gradient was done and completely dry I stamped on my middle and ring finger using BM607 and Mundo de Unas – White. I then tried to do a white border on each nail using Sinful Colors – Snow me white and a thin nail art brush. I topcoated and that was that.
I really need to work on the lines when I make a border. Actually I need work on my freehand and nail art brush work in general. Either way, I really like this and I am particularly fond of the gradient. What do you think? How do you feel about nude polishes? I have so many ideas to do with more nude polishes and nude gradients. Do you think it is more seasonal? Should I wait for autumn?
Thanks for reading,
Renita
I did not even realize it was a gradient until I read it! I thought there was a shadow. Your gradient is flawless ?

Awwww you say the nicest things!! Thank you so much!
I did like the gradient being almost an illusion. It actually looks like a shadow right?
