Hi lovelies,
It’s only Wednesday and it feels like I should be weekend relaxing already! This week is crawling. I can’t really complain because it means I still have days to do stuff but gosh I am tired. How are you dealing with the new year and being back at work? I know today is also back to school day for a lot if kiddies so the roads have become more busy too. Roll on the weekend am I right? 😉
I have been noticing so many of these reverse stamping nail art looks with bright colours and fabulous patterns. Of course, I had to follow suit and I had so much fun I can guarantee this will be around for a while. I can’t stop and this is all I want to do 😛 That being said, I could’ve done a better job with the colouring in but let’s just call this a trial run. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of Morgan Taylor – Shock therapy. While that was drying I went to work with the reverse stamping. I stamped using BM-S120 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then used China Glaze – Kill ’em with kindness (yellow) and China Glaze – Cutie mark the spot (light green) to colour in the image. I applied each one to a nail and then topcoated.
Like I said, I wish I had done a better job colouring in the image but I think it’s better than some of my efforts 😉 I also really liked the colours together. The yellow and green look a bit lighter on camera but the contrast between the bright of Shock Therapy and the pastel shades is really fun. What do you think? Which colours should I try next? Hit with me suggestions. Like I said, I can’t get enough.
Thanks for reading,
