Hello lovelies.
Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? Mine went by way too quickly but that’s ok. It was pretty decent so I’m good to tackle the week. I might feel differently tomorrow though 😉 I can’t believe it is March already though and I am sure as soon as I get used to it it will be April :/
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
You guys, it’s week 10!! Didn’t we just start this year? Anyway, the prompt for this week is plaid. I do enjoy some good plaid and I always try to change it up. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Sorry I’m latte and left that to dry completely. I then stamped the plaid on my ring and middle finger. I first stamped the black part using BPL-041 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then stamped over that again with BP-09 and Mundo de Unas – Reddish. I topcoated and that was that.
I really like the colour combination. It’s not a new colour combo as I’m sure you would recognise. When I was younger I had a makeup bag in this patter and I always remember it when I think 0f plaid. Don’t you just love the versatility of plaid? I really enjoyed this prompt. What do you think? Does it work? What is your favourite plaid combination?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Ohhhh… pretty!!!! I love that we both used memories as inspiration for our plaid… and sort of the same colors (oh, alright, with a bit of imagination 😉 )
