Hello lovelies
Happy Friday!!! It’s cold and rainy today and I love it! It’s also weekend which is another perk. I am doing Parkrun this weekend which will be the first one since surgery. I’m a little nervous even though it should be fine. It has to be fine because next weekend is the Ultra Glow UV night run thingie! What are you doing this weekend?
Today I have another stamping plate from Born Pretty Store to show you. I really like their stamping plates especially the huge variety. As if the variety of nail art goodies isn’t enough, they just keep knocking it out of the park with stamping plates too. Today I am showing you the BP-X49 stamping plate with a bit of a halloween theme. Let me show you what I did
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails and left that to dry completely while I got to work with the stamping. I stamped the monster image and on my stamper I coloured it all in. I used Hean #805 (purple) Hean #810 (light blue), Hean #809 (green) and Essence – Instant happiness (dark blue) to colour in all the monsters. I tried to keep the colours the same across all the nails and just move the image to different parts. I applied these images to my nails directly from the stamper and like I said, tried to move to different parts of the image. I topcoated each nail and voila!
This image was quite big and I look forward to using it again when my nails are longer. I would love to get more of the spooky house and tree from the background on the nail. I really like this image though. I had a hard time choose an image to use from this plate because they’re all so cute. Luckily I had the girls from the Secret Santa group to help out (thanks Juanita). This is a great plate for halloween but as you can see, it is definitely usable throughout the year. Have you got this plate? What do you think? If you want to grab this plate – or anything else – don’t forget to use my discount code below to get 10% off.
