Hey loves
Happy Friday! I hope you had a fantastic week and an even better weekend. Do you have anything fun planned? I think we are just taking it easy this weekend as I am still feeling a bit sickish but that also gives me time to catch up on those to-do lists and will my nails into growing just a little bit faster so I can do some nail art again 😀
I had an idea for something and then a different idea for a specific colour. I just couldn’t decide what to do first. Then before I knew it, I had combined the two ideas and ended up with something I kinda love. I was unsure at first but the more I look at it, the more I like it. Let me show you
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Fifth avenue on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then did a radial gradient on my middle and ring finger using China Glaze – Fifth avenue in the middle and Essence – Belly dancing queen on the outside. Once the gradient was done and dry, I stamped over it with Lina – Make your mark 01 and Mundo de Unas – Copper. I centred the splattered heart over the middle of the radial gradient but still tried to keep a slight sliver of the darker shade visible. I topcoated all my nails and then went in with a matte topcoat and ta-daah!
What do you think? Does it work? I wish I had shown just a sliver more of the darker shade of the radial gradient inside the heart. I was also not sure if the colours all worked but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. So I took it as a sign. I absolutely love that splattered heart image and you can bet your hiney I will be using it again. I also really love Fifth avenue, especially mattified.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
I love it, both the design and the color combo! I have to admit I didn’t recognize the radial gradient. Having said that, I really like the dark outside, the copper splatter and the lighter heart and I thought it you stamped the heart on the splatter and the splatter on the darker base 🙂

You know…..when you put it like that it makes total sense and I realise I could’ve just done it that way 😀 😀 😀
Thanks so much
