It’s finally Friday! It hasn’t been a bad week but it certainly felt a million years long. How has your week been? Are you excited for the weekend? Do you have any fun plans? I am hoping to continue the trend of getting stuff done but also taking it easy. Let’s hope 😉
It’s time for another Friday Triad with Juanita and Joyce . So once a month we will make turns choosing someones nail art to use as inspiration for this post. You can look forward to these posts on the last friday of each month. This month it was my turn to choose and I wanted something gorgeous but less scary. I chose this gorgeous nail art from @Polishpixie92 on instagram. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of Zoya – Godiva on my pinky and ring finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – Don’t honk your thorn on my middle and index nails. I left that to dry completely. I then stamped on my index and middle finger using Pueen74 and a combination of Mundo de Unas – Aqua and Mundo de Unas – Merry. I topcoated my index and middle fingers and that was that.
I absolutely ADORE the original inspiration so so much. I originally wanted to do a light version of it to change it up a little bit. I feel like I have been recreating a lot of the recent inspirations and I wanted to use it more as an inspiration this time. I chose to use the nudes instead of the dark as a base but in hindsight, I don’t know if it really works as well. I think the darker background adds to the awesomeness. I don’t hate what I did but I am not sure yet if I love it. What do you think? Does it work? Should I have stuck with the darker base? This is the funniest thing ever! I was pretty sure I wanted to go with a ‘light’ version when I chose it but while I was doubting myself I kept thinking “what would Joyce do?” Well, turns out Joyce will stuck with the original colour scheme 😀 😀 😀 😀
So in case you haven’t noticed I’m kinda liking my light nudes…. (like pebble) So I freaking love this!! Love love this!!
