Hello folks,
Happy Friday! Seriously though, how long could June possibly be? As soon as I think this is the last weekend I see the calendar and nope….we’re still going. It’s bizarre! How was your week? Do you have any weekend plans? It seems to be a fabulous weekend with lots of celebrations for some but I am just over here keeping head above water ;).
I remember when Sinful Colors – Prosecco came out and everyone was in love with this stunning polish and I was wondering how long it would take IF we ever got here. Well, I have now had it for almost a year and this is the first time I am using it. I am ashamed of myself! I can however confirm it is as beautiful as expected. Let me show you
Sinful Colors – Prosecco
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a taupe toned nude filled with gold glass flecks. It is a stunning formula with a shiny finish and is surprisingly opaque. I expected a lot from this polish thanks to all the hype and it really did deliver. It’s beautiful. So beautiful that I didn’t really want to do too much to it with nail art so I went with something really simple. Let me show you what I did.
With the 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Prosecco on all my nails I started stamping using Essence 02 – Shapes of glory stamping plate and layered the designs using Mundo de Unas – Geranium, then Mundo de Unas – Fiji and finally Mundo de Unas – Reddish. I want this at the cuticle and pretty simple although I wish I could do a better job with the layering 😉
I really like this but while I was doing the swatch I wondered how this polish would look if it was matte. So I also did matte version of this nail art and as I can’t decide which I prefer I thought I would show you both.
I really like the matte version. I think the gold glass flecks look fabulous and the shade of the polish also looks good with the brighter colours. What do you think?
Do you have this polish? What do you think of it? Do you prefer it shiny or matte? I think both look good but I am leaning towards the matte.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Pretty!! I love that you haven’t covered up that gorgeous base 🙂

Thank you! How pretty is that base too. I can’t believe it took me that long to use it.
