Hey guys,
Happy Monday! I thought I was finally over the sniffles and sneezes, even got ready to go to gym this morning and what do you know. I have sniffles and a sore throat. I am starting to think this is just a sick joke. Nevertheless I am not going to let it get me down. I will kick some butt at the gym and I won’t let the sniffles get me down this time. Did you have a good weekend?
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is Cheapest polish and this was quite easy for me to narrow down. I obviously excluded all polish I got for free and as gifts and I knew that the Pure Ice polishes was probably it. There were a few polishes that I got for R9 and this one in particular is probably one of my favourites. Let me show you the polish.
Pure Ice – Deja vu
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a royal blue glass fleck glittery beaut with a violet purple glitter too. This gives it a duo chrome feel. It has a stunning formula and opacity and is just so beautiful. This is definitely one of my favourites and for R9 I can’t think of a bigger bargain. I really just wanted to show off this polish for this prompt but then I did end up stamping over it and adding black so let me show you that too.
I used 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black on my pinky and ring finger and 2 coats of Pure Ice – Deja vu on my middle and index. I then stamped on my middle and index using Lina – Totally negative 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black, topcoated everything and voila.
I am not sure if this was the best idea because the butterflies get a little lost between the black and the polish but it did look really pretty on the nail. What do you think? Do you have any Pure Ice polishes? What is your cheapest polish?
Thanks for reading,
Cindi
This is very pretty and I like the black and blue combo. I have a lot of Pure Ice polishes and they are all great formulas. I don’t know why I don’t wear them more often.

Thank you so much! You know, you make a good point. I have not been disappointed by any of mine but I really should use them more often!

I had to convert R9 to euro but after that… THAT polish for THAT price? I wish I could get my hands on Pure Ice polishes over here if they are all this gorgeous 😉
Michelle Roberts
Right!?!?! Believe it or not, I got my first Pure Ice polishes in my “Amazing US box” and I almost never touched them because they were SO precious to me. And then bam, one day they are here in a bin for dirt cheap and then a few days later they’re gone. It’s craziness I tell you!

The blue color is so gorgeous…Its so vibrant. Love it!

Thank you so much! I completely agree, that polish is gorgeous!
