Hey hi,
Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? Mine was equal parts productive and lazy which is perfect. I suppose I would’ve liked a it more lazy but my to-do list says I should’ve been a little more productive. What did you get up to? I am SO ready for this week!
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is flowers and I was really excited about it. I just love flowers lately and I feel like I might be over doing it a bit but flowers are pretty right? Floral nail art is really versatile and when this prompt came along I had an idea of what I wanted to do. So let me show you
I started with 2 coats of Color Club – Lady holiday on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then stamped over it with Lina Feeling Shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Dark grey. While that was drying I went to work making the flowers. I stamped using Lina – Spring 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then coloured in the flowers using China Glaze – That’s shore bright (purple), China Glaze – Bottoms up (pink) and China Glaze – Neon and on and on. I stamped the full image on my ring finger and then just placed one flower of each colour on the other nails. I topcoated and then added a matte topcoat too.
I wasn’t sure if I preferred the matte or the glossy version so I am showing you both versions. What do you think?
I also have a swatch for you of
Color Club – Lady holiday
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a light grey creme with a really nice formula and opacity. I am never really short of grey polishes but I just love them and this is a really good one.
I really like how this turned out and I like the bright colours paired with the grey base. What do you think? Do you like it? Should I have changed it? Let me know if any other flower ideas I should try!
Thanks for reading,
Juanita
I love this!!

Thank you so much! x

I promised myself I wouldn’t look at a challenge until I had done it myself… and I’m kicking myself now! This is SO pretty and I would have loved to copy this with white flowers for the black-n-white prompt 🙂

Oh my gosh that is a genius idea!! I am definitely saving that idea for future use. Thank you so much! x
