Lined smoosh nail art

Happy Friday! I hope your week was amazing.  The last 2 days or so have been insane and I need a weekend to recover.  I am planning on doing a lot of nothing.  How about you? Any fun weekend plans?

This nail art is a combination of seeing a polish I wanted to use and an idea I wanted to try and then I changed it up a bit because I wasn’t sure if it worked.  Sounds complicated right? ;). Let me show you what I did first,

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Pixilated on all my nails and left that to dry completely.  Once it was dry I taped off the cuticle end of each nail and then I did a smoosh on the tip end using Sinful Colors – Pink forever, Sinful Colors – Aubergine and China Glaze – Pixilated.  I removed the tape as soon as I was done with the smoosh.  I left that to dry.a bit and then I stamped using Lina Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black.  I layered the stamping where the smoosh meets the base.  I topcoated and ta-daaah.

What do you think? Does it work?  I quite like the colours together and I am always a sucker for a smoosh.  I am not sure if the stamping lines work.  I like it but I am unsure.  I don’t know why I thought the smoosh would have some darker lines in it with the dark polish but turns out I like it just the way it is.
