Did you have a good weekend? Mine was good. It felt long yet over in a blink of an eye. I got enough done to not feel like a total sloth but I was pretty lazy. I do have a lot planned for this week though so I am ready to get cracking.
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is black and white. I love a good monochrome look and I originally thought I had a million fantastic ideas for this prompt. Turns out I didn’t have anything I really wanted to do. Let me who you what I settled on
I started with 1 coat of Sinful COlors – Snow me white on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then did a sponged gradient using Sinful Colors – Snow me white and Sinful Colors – Black on black. Once that was done I topcoated the gradient to make sure it dried 100%. I then used the Because I shop – Straight liners 3mm vinyls vertically down the centre of each nails. On my middle and ring finger I used 2 vinyls and on my pinky and index I used one vinyl. I applied Sinful Colors – Black on black and removed the vinyl immediately. I topcoated immediately and voila!
I really liked how this looked on my nails but once I saw the photos I wasn’t sure about it. Do you think it works? I really like the idea and I have done it before. Let me know what you think

Hahahahaha now MY ocd is seeing the pattern. two the same, two the same. Maybe your ocd and my ocd should have a sit down because I think yours is smarter than mine 😉 Thanks Joyce!
