I love violet polishes and I all thing violet but the most frustrating thing about this prompt is deciding what classifies as a ‘true’ violet. I almost always end up using a polish that has violet in the name :P. Let me show you
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Violet-vibes on my pinky and ring finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – I sea ponies on my middle and index nails. While that was drying I went to work on the decal. I stamped using BPL-054 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then coloured in pieces of the image using China Glaze – Violet-vibes. Once it was dry I applied it to my index and middle nail, topcoated and that was that.
I expected the violet to be a little more……violet but I liked it anyway. I really like the images on that stamping plate too and I think it is a nice way to use colours and shapes. What do you think? Does this work for violet?

Love these! I use to do the same thing and pick polishes with violet in their name.
How hard is it to find something to say at the beginning of a blog post for this challenge? I kinda feel like I am saying the same thing over and over…..or I just start rambling on about nothing.

Hahahahaha You’ve hit the nail on the head. I ramble way too much or just say nothing out of panic that I am talking too much. It’s quite stressful when you post every day. How do people do it?

Hahahahaha!!! You’re so funny. I read somewhere that it is the amount of blue in the purple that qualifies it as violet but yeah, basically (a shade of) purple. Oh and opposite yellow on the colour wheel or something.
