31DC2018: Day 7 – B&W nails

Hey guys,

Happy Friday!  In case you were worried about missing me, don’t be.  I’m still going strong with the challenge and I will be here all weekend ;). I know, I’m being silly.  You all know that I will be here all month right.  I actually can’t believe we are a week into September already.  It feels like yesterday I was getting all my planners ready to see if I could squeeze in this challenge at all.  I still have regret about not doing it last year so I am determined.  Anyway, onto the nails!

There has been a lot of black and white happening around here lately.  I had an idea for this prompt and even though it didn’t quite go according to plan, I liked it anyway.  Let me show you,

I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails and left that to dry completely.  I then did a stamped smoosh on all my nails using Sinful Colors – Snow me white and Sinful Colors – Black on black.  I topcoated and that was that.

My initial idea was to make this look like marble and in the end it didn’t quite look like marble but I figured I wasn’t going to have an opportunity to do this using black and white and not have to have a name of what to call it.  I liked the way it looked and it was black and white.  That’s all that was necessary right?  What do you think?
