Hey lovelies,
It’s Sunday already. Didn’t I JUST say how much I was looking forward to the weekend and here we are getting ready for the next week. We are now officially more than half way through this challenge and so far so good. Have you enjoyed it so far? As a participant or as a viewer?
The 31 Day Challenge is usually done in September although you can do it any time of the year. If you want to find out more information you can find everything you need to know as well as the Inlinkz for the prompts here thanks to Cathy from More Nail Polish. Here are the prompts you can look forward to
Man oh man I can appreciate some gorgeous geometric. The tricky part is getting that gorgeous geometric print on my nails. I had fabulous idea but I am not sure I implemented it all that well. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Minimalist momma (see, here I go with it again 😉 )on all my. nails and left that to dry completely. I then started to stamped the geometric shapes across my nails using the square, triangle and the border for each from Lina – Feeling shapely 09 and Mundo de unease – Joy and Mundo de Unas – Pastel blue. I then stamped the white and black lines in random places using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black and Mundo de Unas – White. I topcoated and then used a matte topcoat. Ta-dah!
Even though this didn’t exactly turn out the way I had pictured it in my head, I still kinda like it. I originally thought I should do it in red and then considered purples but ended up with blue. The big question is, is it geometric enough? What do you think? Does it work?
Don’t forget to follow the #31DC2018 on social media if you want to follow along with the daily prompts OR take a peep at the InLinkz below.
Thanks for reading,
Tracy
You’re not sure you implemented these well? I think you are crazy! These are amazing! I want them on my nails. I’m not sure if I can recreate these though. I definitely want to try at some point though <3

Before I knew you were going to use these for the last prompt I was so chuffed that you liked them. Now my mind is blown. It’s really the biggest compliment coming from you. Thank you so much. xx

This is stunning!!! I would totally suck at trying something like this. I would have to have some kind of picture as a guide.

Thank you so much. I actually just placed some shapes and then filled up the empty spaces :P. Also, now you have kind of a picture as a guide 😉

The only way you could have implemented ‘Geometry’ better was by painting math exercises on your nails… sheesh woman, I totally agree with Tracy, you are crazy!!

Aww you’re making me blush! Thank you so much. I am also making notes to maybe use math exercises next time 😉
