31DC2018: Day 20 – Water marble

Hey guys,

It’s downhill to the weekend now!  I can almost taste it.  It’s a long weekend too which makes it extra great right?  I don’t know why I am so exhausted but I think I might take a little brea this weekend and catch an afternoon nap.  Oh who am I kidding, it’s challenge month!  There will be no naps! 😛

I am not a fan of water marble.  Only because I stink at it.  I look at people who can make incredible patterns and crazy water marble and I am green with envy.  Every single time there is a water marble prompt or challenge I swear I am going to use vinyls or stamping but in the end I always do the water marble.  Mostly because I am a sucker for punishment because no matter how many times I try I still kinda suck :D.  Let me show you todays effort,

I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my index and middle nail, 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Rendezvous on my ring finger and 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Pragmatic on my pinky.  Once it was all dry I did the water marble on my index and middle nail using Sinful Colors – Rendezvous, Sinful Colors – Alfresco and Sinful Colors – Pragmatic.  I topcoated and that was that.

I think it looks like a water marble right?  I mean it isn’t going to win any awards but its a marble.  Maybe next time I will actually rather stamp or use vinyls 😛 What do you think?  How do you feel about water marble?
