31DC2018: Day 21 – Inspired by a colour

Hey lovelies,

Happy Friday!!  It’s a long weekend here (Monday is Heritage day) and I am ALL about that.  I seem to think somehow that that means I don’t have anything to do this weekend.  But alas, I will be nailing it like a pro ;). Do you have any weekend plans?

The prompt today is inspired by colour and I assume it is no surprise at all that it is pink.  It has always been pink and will always be pink 😉 Also, remember how yesterday I mentioned how much I dislike the water marble because I suck at it?  Yeah I am a huge sucker for punishment.  Let me show you what I did.

I was inspired by this post on instagram and I wanted to play with a variation of it.  I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my index and middle nail and 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black on my ring and pinky.  Once it is all completely dry I started with the water marble.  This one was easier because I wanted just the thin rings.  I used Sinful Colors – Come hither (the darker pink) and Sinful Colors – Yours truly for the marble.  Once it was on and dry enough I stamped over the marble using Lina – I foil in love 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black.  I topcoated and that was that.

I wish the pinks showed up a little more vibrant but I like the thin stripes of the marble.  I think the flowers show it off pretty well too.  What do you think?  Also, don’t expect another marble from me for the next year.  I don’t know what I was thinking.
