Hello lovelies,
How is your week going so far? It feels like it’s been a week since I last posted anything. Does that mean the week is crawling? I have been so busy it doesn’t feel like it has. We have had lovely spring weather lately (which is really just summer with cooler evenings) and even though I am definitely not ready for the heat yet, I am enjoying the cooler nights. Long may it last!
I have another plate to review from Born Pretty Store today. You know by now I love getting my fix of nail art goodies from them but their stamping plates just keep getting better and better. Today I am showing you the Spring Garden L003 stamping plate. First of all let me show you a photo of the plate from the website.
I really like the images on this plate. It is striking but delicate and super versatile. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Note to selfie on all my nails. While that was drying I started with the stamping. I stamped using Mundo de Unas – Black and first removed the bigger flower part. I did two that I coloured in using China Glaze – Casual Friday and one coloured in with China Glaze – Chalk me up. I applied these to my pinky, middle and index fingers. I stamped using the same image but this time kept the bigger part and removed the other end. I coloured this in with the same colours. When it was dry I applied it to my ring finger. I topcoated and once it was dry, I used a matte topcoat.
I really like how this turned out. The images stamped so well and there is so much detail. I also like how I could use the same image to get different looks. What do you think? Does this work? Do you like the images on the plate? I can’t wait to use this plate again. If you want to grab this plate – or anything else – don’t forget to use my discount code below to get 10% off.
