Hi lovelies,
Did you have a good weekend? It turned out to be a cold and sometimes rainy weekend which was perfect for staying indoors and getting things done. I finally finished packing my secret Santa package and I am stupid excited about sending it out. What did you get up to?
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is feathers. I did these for the 31 day challenge so I didn’t want to do something similar. I was actually thinking of something light and shiny but I ended up going in a very different direction. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Cool gray on my ring finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – Slay bells ring on the rest of my nails. While that was drying I made the feathers. I stamped using Lina – Summer 02 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I coloured in the feathers using Essence – On air!. Once everything was dry I placed the feathers on my middle and ring finger. I topcoated and ta-dah!
Even though I liked this, I am not sure if it is enough. I am wondering if I shouldn’t have gone with the light and shiny version. What do you think? Does it work? I will probably do the light and shiny version at some point just because I am curious about it now. I do like the gold against the gray and gun metal colours.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
I actually looked up all polishes you used to figure out what polish was the gold one… it totally looks like a shimmery, glittery silver on my screen!
And me likey, me likey a lot 🙂

You know, I actually went back and looked at it again and it definitely leans more silver than gold in my combination. I suspect because of the colours I used with it or maybe just because it was so little of it. But I am glad you like it either way :D. Thank you!
