Hey lovelies,
It’s finally Friday and we can get excited about the weekend. Do you have any fun weekend plans? Did you have a good week? I’ve been feeling a little under the weather the last few days but nothing too serious and I am sure I’ll kick all the germ butt in no time. I do look forward to some relaxing this weekend though.
I’ve mentioned a few times now that I am trying to break my ‘save the best for last’ habit. Today I have another polish that I have had for the longest time and I finally got around to using it. I am so glad I did because it is super gorgeous. Let me show you the polish first.
Starrily – Blitzen
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is blue jelly base packed with blue and teal glitter and some silver holographic glitter. This dries with a bit of a texture without topcoat. It applies really beautifully and easily. It’s also super sparkly and I wish my Lightbox photos showed off some of the holographic sparkle. You can see some of it in the bottle and a smidge on my pinky where it’s blurry. I think this polish is just gorgeous and I am so glad I used it. Let me show you what nail art I did.
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black on my ring finger and 2 coats of Starrily – Blitzen on the rest of my nails. Once it was all dry I went to work on the stamping. I stamped using Lina – Make your mark 5 and Mundo de Unas – Black to stamp on my index and middle nail. I topcoated everything again and that was that.
Initially I was going to do something a little different but this polish is so gorgeous I didn’t want to cover it up too much. What do you think? Do you have Blitzen? Any other suggestions on what I could do with this polish? I feel like it can be paired with something amazing. Have a fantastic weekend and I’ll see you on the other side.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Beautiful!
I don’t own Blitzen so I guess it’s a good thing you haven’t used it much. That way I’ll get an almost full bottle because of course this is another one for my stash ?
(oh, and please tell me you used a peel off base coat)

Gosh Joyce you really make me giggle. Now I will HAVE to use Blitzen every day for the rest of the month. Maybe even do my toes 😛
I don’t really have a peel off base coat but I use the Wet n Wild protective base coat and it pretty much peels off so I guess the answer is yes 😛
