Are you having a good week so far? It’s going by so quickly which is probably a good thing right? I feel like we are just a lick away from holidays but not really. My brain is starting to slow down quite well though 😉
I am finally ready to show you what went down at Secret Santa. This year my secret Santa was Melliska and from the moment I got my (very well wrapped) package I knew I was in for a treat. I don’t know where my photos went of the wrapped package but I am going to show you a my whole stash and then some close ups. Are you ready?
Isn’t that a mighty stash? I got so carried away when I was opening that the squeals of excitement just got higher pitched every time I opened another item. Let me give you some close up shots.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate this mug! Even though I have one of the most common names in the world, I always struggle to find anything with my name on. Having a beautiful PINK mug with not only unicorns but my name…..magic. Pure magic!
It’s an incredible stash and I am so so SO lucky! Thank you again so much Mel. I appreciate it so much and you really spoilt me like crazy. The biggest problem right now is where do I even start? I couldn’t wait to play and of course, you can expect a lot of nail art from this stash. Let me show you where I started
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Face the facets on my pinky and ring finger and 2 coats of Revlon – Zealous on my index and middle finger. Once it was all dry I went to work on the stamping. I first did the flower decals. I stamped using MoYou Tropical 23 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then coloured it in using a thin brush and Morgan Taylor – Pink flame-ingo. While that was drying I stamped the leaves using MoYou Tropical 23 and Mundo de Unas – Green and Mundo de Unas – Military green. I then layered the flower on my index and middle nail between the leaves I stamped. I topcoated those two nails to keep the texture and voila!
I am so in love with this yellow texture. It is so bright and gorgeous. I thought pairing it with the flowers would ramp up the tropical summer vibe. The revlon is also a gorgeous lime colour and I will definitely swatch these two soon. What do you think? Does it work? Are you jealous of my secret Santa stash? I would be 😀
