Merry Pinkmas!

Hey guys,

Being on holiday really messes with me when it comes to remembering what day of the week it is.  I was convinced yesterday was Friday but this means I get that Friday feeling twice!  Do you have any weekend plans?  Are you on holiday yet? Can you believe next week is Christmas already?

I don’t really do a lot of Christmas nail art.  The time seems to get away from me and when I look again it is too late so I usually end up with one or maybe two Christmas designs.  Luckily the #52Weeknailchallenge has a Christmas prompt so I know I get at least one festive post in.  Pinkmas however seems to be my tradition and it wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t get to wish everyone a merry pinkmas.  Being original is getting harder but let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of OPI – Funny bunny on my pinky and index and 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my middle and ring finger.  On my pinky and index I did a stamp sandwich and layered W222 and Mundo de Unas – orchid and Mundo de Unas – Silver with more layers OPI – Funny Bunny.  On my middle finger I stamped using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Orchid and then stamped the thinner lines using Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Silver.  I topped that with 1 coat of OPI – Funny bunny to soften the lines a little.  On my ring finger I used the Christmas Set nail vinyls from Because I Shop and placed the squiggle tree and then sponged on Essence – Hi, pink panther! I removed the vinyl immediately, added a small line of black as a stem (I don’t know why) and then a dot of silver glitter at the top.  I topcoat everything and that was that

This was quite fun to wear and the pinks and whites and hints of silver really looked nice.  What do you think?  I am obsessed with the vinyl tree though.  It’s one of my favourites!
