52 week nail art challenge – Week 52: Christmas

Hey hello hi,

It’s Christmas!!  Ok not yet but we are so close I can practically smell all the festive food.  I don’t even know what day of the week it is anymore.  I just know what day of the menu it is ;). Are you having a good time?

Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio.  As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.

This is the LAST prompt for the year!  In case you missed it, here are the prompts for 2019

Ok so the prompt this week is Christmas and I am glad that I at least go to do something festive.  Without this prompt I might’ve completely forgotten about it.  Let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Mingle with Kringle on my pinky and index and 2 coats of China Glaze – Don’t be a snowflake on my middle and ring finger. Once it was all dry I started stamping.  I stamped on my index and pinky using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Colour Alike – a cherry lollipop and Colour alike – a sour jelly.  On my middle and ring finger I stamped using Lina – Make your mark 06 and layered Colour Alike – a cherry lollipop and Colour Alike – a sour jelly with Mundo de Unas – Black.  I topcoated everything and voila!

I wasn’t sure if this would be festive or christmassy enough but I actually really enjoyed wearing it.  What do you think?  Does it work?  I am really loving the plates I used.  Funny story, I have a plate I use every year and this year when I grabbed for it, it is just gone.  I’ve spent a whole day unpacking and repacking my polish room and I just can’t find it.  I am obviously missing it in my search but the frustration meant I had to stop and go with plan B.

With Christmas literally hours away I wanted to take the opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and joyous and peaceful festive season.  I hope your holidays are filled with love and that we all remember the reason for the season.  Please be safe!  I am also going to take a bit of a holiday.  I will be back on Friday with the Friday Triad post for December and then I will take the next week off.  I will be back on 7 Jan 2019!
