Hey guys,
It’s only taken about 3 weeks to get to Wednesday but woohoo! The week so far has felt rather long but not in a bad way. I like that it feels I got a lot done even though it’s ‘only Wednesday’. How has your week been treating you?
Thanks to our disaster of a postal system many of my international orders take forever to get here. This one is no different. When Dollish Polish announced this collection I knew I had to have it. Not only is the theme incredible, I am also a big fan of these types of polishes. These looked super fun and I ordered them immediately. They finally arrived and now I can show them to you. It’s not often I get to show you a collection that is still available to purchase too so double win! This collection is a Willy Wonka themed collection and consists of 8 polishes. Let me show you,
Dollish Polish – Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as a bubblegum pink with micro glitters in shades of magenta, hot pink, aqua, cobalt and emerald. Thanks to my pink hating camera this pink does look a smidge lighter than it actually is. It is beautiful and has a beautiful formula too. This is one of my favourites (I am not biased to the pink, promise 😉 ) I particularly like the green and blue pops of colour in this.
Dollish Polish – Don’t are how, I want it NOW!
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is described as a coral red cruelly with micro glitters in shades of grass green, sage, emerald, lime, pastel pink, bubblegum pink, magenta and peach. I really love how bright and fun this polish is. I an’t wait to pair it with all the colours of the glitters in this polish. Great formula and application.
Dollish Polish – Everlasting gobstopper
This is 2 oats with topcoat. This is described as a classic white crelly with micro glitters in shades of red, orange, lemon, lime, pink, aqua, royal and navy blue, & black! I love this one too. I know white crelly with multi colour glitter is not unique but this one is gorgeous with a great formula. I like the distribution of glitter here as well. Let me know if you want to see a omparison with any other white crelly I have.
Dollish Polish – I’ve got a golden ticket
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as a vibrant golden lemon yellow crelly with micro glitters in shades of red, hot pink, orange, coral, aqua and yellow. You guys, this is beautiful. It is definitely bright and vibrant and mix of colours in the glitter is just perfect. Another great formula makes application a breeze. I feel like I am saying every one is my favourite (they all are) but this one is very striking and fun.
Dollish Polish – Oompa Loompa doompity do
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as an orange crelly with micro glitters in shades of neon pink, green, yellow, orange, black and white. There is a slight bit of tipwear visible on two coats which makes it a little sheer compared to the others but easily preventable with another coat. It’s a beautiful colour and formula. The green and pink pops of glitter looks so beautiful.
Dollish Polish – The suspense is terrible, I hope it’ll last
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as a bright apple green crelly with micro glitters in shades of lemon, lime, orange, magenta and purple. This is also sheer like Oompa Loompa doompity do which I think will be fine with a third coat. It wasn’t as obvious in real life though. I just love the bright glitter in this green, Great formula!
Dollish Polish – We are the music makers & we are the dreamer of dreams
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as a blueberry blue crelly with micro glitters in shades of navy, cobalt, aqua, turquoise, lime, emerald and white. This is such a bright and vivid blue and the pops of glitter just adds to its beauty. I really like the green contrast in the glitter but I think an orange or pink added would’ve looked great too. This is a perfect blue. Great formula, very opaque
Dollish Polish – Violet! You’re turning violet, Violet!
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as a grape purple crelly with micro glitters in shades of pink, periwinkle, lavender, violet, amethyst and purple. I adore this shade of purple and the glitter makes it look even better. Again, I wish there was one more contrasting glitter in like some of the other shades but something this beautiful probably doesn’t need it. Great formula and very opaque.
That’s it. Which one is your favourite? It is impossible for me to choose a favourite because I seriously love them all. I love this collection because of the theme but also, who doesn’t love some bright and fun crellies right? They’re all so great to work with as well. I can’t wait to use them in tons of nail art in the future. I’ve got a few more Dollish collections and polishes not he way but who knows how long it will take to arrive. I really don’t like our postal service right now. 🙁
