Hello lovelies,
I hope you are having a fantastic week so far. My days are all kind of blurring into one. Except I still don’t feel like I have enough hours in my day. Funny how that works huh.
China Glaze – Delicously wicked,
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a pearly / frosty blue with silver holographic glitter. When I applied it I didn’t LOVE it. It’s so pretty and sparkly but the frosty tint to the blue was a little weird. I wished it was a hint darker or less frosty. The longer I had it on the more it grew on me though. It’s probably my least favourite of the lot but it is still very pretty. The silver holo on this is stunning. It is very sparkly and also applies really well and easily reaching great opacity in 2 coats.
China Glaze – Grinchworthy
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a goooooorgeous green shimmer. This is definitely one of my favourites. This is almost a one coater and has a fantastic formula. This green is fire. It’s so sparkly and just crazy gorgeous. Can you tell I love it?
China Glaze – Ho! Ho! No.
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a beautiful red with a gold glitter. The gold glitter is very prominent and I love that. This is also beautifully opaque and 2 coats is all you’ll need. This is possibly my favourite one, at least top 3.
China Glaze – Lukewarm wishes
This is a blue shimmery but sheer polish. I think this is definitely meant as a topper as I doubt you would get opacity on its own. I decided to swatch it over black and a light colour. I chose black and China Glaze – My sweet lady. This is 1 coat over each colour. I did not expect it to be as gorgeous. The blue really pops on the black and I wish the pink showed off a little more in my photos because it really looked gorgeous. I am not very good at remembering that layering toppers over polish is an option but this is really gorgeous. I am already imagining this over a dark green or even a purple.
China Glaze – Merry whatever
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It was a little sheer at first and I was worried that it would be too sheer but it worked out well enough in 2 coats to be opaque. This is a champagne gold glitter with larger holographic glitter bits. I absolutely love this one too. Definitely top 3 for me. I just love this tone of gold and the glitter bits look incredible. Great formula too.
China Glaze – Resting Grinch face
This is over Ho! Ho! No.
This is over Merry whatever
Both of these is 1 coat on my middle and ring finger and 2 coats over my pinky and index. This is glitter topper in metallic red, green, blue and gold glitter. I love how big and prominent the glitter is and I actually suspect you might get decent enough coverage alone with 3 coats or sponging it on. It’s a beautiful glitter and I just love the colours. The glitter was so easy to work with and I just applied it as normal without needing to place any glitter.
China Glaze – Who wonder
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a hot pink shimmer with a great formula. Of course, this is a favourite for me too. It is pink after all. This pink though is delicious. The shimmer is absolutely stunning and very visible. Great formula and opacity.
China Glaze – You’re a mean one
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This was a surprise for me. This is a deep purple with a shimmer. This shimmer though, this like fire. It’s the finest shimmer that looks almost multi chrome. It makes this polish look plum purple. I know I am not explaining this properly but it is sooooo gorgeous. I know I have such a glare on some nails in my photos but on my index nail in the first photo and in the middle of the bottle in the second you can get more of a hint of how gorgeous this shimmer is. It has a stunning formula and great opacity too.
What do you think? Do you have any of these? Which ones are your favourite? I really do love them all but some are definitely higher on the list than others. I wouldn’t trade any of them though. Do you have any comparison suggestions? Let me know and I will see if I can do them.
If you are in SA and want to grab any of these polishes for yourself, don’t forget you can these and a bunch of other in my shop here.
Thanks for reading,
