I hope you had a fabulous weekend and ready to conquer this week. I had a great mix of relaxing, productivity and some fun. I also have a long to-do list for this week so I am ready! Do you also make to-do lists for your days or the week?
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is Pink and gold. You don’t really have to ask me twice. The options were endless for me but I knew I wanted to do a gradient. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 1 coat of Essie – Boom boom room on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then did a sponged gradient on all my nails using Essie – Boom boom room, Essie – Mod square and Essie – Secret story. I then stamped over the gradient using Lina – Feeling shapely 02 and Mundo de Unas – Light gold. I topcoated and once it was dry I used a matte topcoat.
I actually really loved this combination. I especially loved it matte. What do you think? I sometimes look at it and think the gradient isn’t obvious enough but then I look at it again and think the gradient is fine. Either way, it’s pink 😀
