I often have people asking me why I need ‘another blue polish”. Pick a colour and I have been asked if I don’t already have something similar. Truth be told I don’t really care how many dupes I have because I just want all the polish 😉 I think that is also why I like doing comparisons. Even shades that look similar are often quite different when they’re next to each other. So today I have another comparison. Let me show you,
On my index and pinky I have 2 coats of China Glaze – Wicked liquid and on my middle and ring fingers I have 2 coats of Essence – Loyal royal. If you look quickly these two do look very similar but when you look closer you will see some subtle difference. I want to say that Wicked liquid has a darker base with the flecks whereas Loyal royal has a slightly lighter base that matches the flecks more. Perhaps the flecks are even a little smaller in Loyal royal. I will be honest, in the extreme close up of the photos you can see this much more than in person while wearing it. I think these are extremely similar and you might feel like you don’t need both in your stash (I always encourage both 😛 ) Formula wise they are both great and both very opaque. I will use Wicked Liquid in a Tuesday Stamping soon and that can be another comparison for these two.
