Hello lovelies,
Back to the grind today and I am not even mad. Did you have a good weekend? It went by very quickly but it was good.
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is Scrollwork and it I’m a fan. The possibilities are endless and who doesn’t like some twirly swirly goodness. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Out like a light on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then stamped on all my nails using Lina – Twirls & swirls 01 and OPI – Push and shove. I put the image randomly on every nail and then topcoated. Once it dried I used a matte topcoat and voila!
I actually quite like this even though it felt like it was super easy and maybe a bit of a cheat. I really do love a matte metallic. I also think it pops so much on the darker base. Out like a light reminds me a bit of China Glaze – Concrete catwalk. Do you want a comparison? Do you think I should’ve left this glossy?
Thanks for reading,
