You guys, this has been a long week. I am exhausted and I need a 2 day long nap. How has your week been? Ok, it hasn’t been that bad but I sure am glad it is weekend.
Today I have another review from one of my favourite nail art stores. I have a stamping plate from Born Pretty Store to show you. Their stamping plate range has increased tremendously and today I have the gorgeous Tropical Punch L003 stamping plate. Let me show you a photo from their website and then what I did with it.
It’s no secret that I am a sucker for floral and geometric images and this is a great mix of both. I decided to use the image on the bottom, third from right first. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Summer reign on my pinky and 2 coats of Dollish Polish – Maximum effort on the rest of my nails. While that was drying I started with the stamping. I stamped using Mundo de Unas – Black. I then used China Glaze – Summer reign to colour in the flowers. When that is dry I transfer it to my middle and ring finger. I topcoat and that was that.
These images are also quite large and just like the Arab Passion L001 plate, very versatile. You can use parts of an image or even align it differently and get a completely different look. I wanted to try another look so I used the image directly above this one (top row, third from right). Let me show you,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Blanc on my index and middle finger, 2 coats of China Glaze – Spring jungle on my ring finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – Belle of a baller on my pinky. I left that to dry completely and then I started stamping. I stamped using Mundo de Unas – Black and then I used a thing brush and Spring jungle and Belle of a baller to fill in just the sections above the line. Once that was dry I applied it to my index and middle finger, topcoated and voila.
What do you think? I am really in love with the images on this plate and I am excited to use more of the images. I didn’t do a great job at lining up the stripes on the second image but I think it is pretty enough right? Which image is your favourite?
