I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I am sop ready for this week. Not only is it a short one with an extra long weekend ahead, but my cousin and her family are coming to visit and I am SO excited! Do you have any long weekend plans?
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is autumn / spring. It is mostly to accommodate both hemispheres but I like that I could choose either one. Obviously it is Autumn here now and it is one of my favourite seasons. I love colder weather so I knew I wanted to do autumn nails. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of Dollish Polish – Breathe sunflower – 3 to the right – 4 to the left – rainbow 450 on all my nails. While that was drying I started on the leaves. I stamped using Lina – Four seasons Autumn 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then coloured in the leaves using Essence – Once upon a time and Dollish Polish – Why am I such a misfit?. Once it was dry I applied the leaves to my middle and ring finger, topcoated and tah-dah!
I really like this leaf image and I hope the colours are autumn enough. We don’t have those beautiful autumn leaves here as much. I knew I wanted to use the base polish for this prompt though because it is so pretty and reminds me of autumn colours too. You can probably tell I chopped my nails off. I knew I had to trim them or risk a break but I have major regret. They feel so short after they were so long. Luckily they will grow again right? :P. Anyway, what do you think of my autumn nails?
