Hey lovelies,
How is your week going so far? My loooooong weekend was incredible but all the flooding and rain really put a spanner in the works. So while I spend the next few days cleaning and drying as much as I can, I am very grateful that we didn’t have more damage or that no one got hurt.
You know the drill by now right? I had a pink and grey polish standing on my desk waiting to be packed away. The longer it stood there the more I knew I had to use the colour combo and I had to do a gradient. I ended up changing it out for a different shade of pink and different shade of grey but it was for the best. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Pink or swim on my index and 2 coats of China Glaze – Pleather weather on my pinky. I also used 1 coat of China Glaze – Blanc to prepare for the gradient. Once it was all dry I did a sponged gradient on my middle and ring finger using China Glaze – Pink or swim and China Glaze – Pleather weather. I then stamped over the gradient using Lina Let’s doodle 01 and Mundo de Unas – White. I topcoated everything and that was that.
I really love the pink and grey combo so I feel like you can’t go wrong with that. It’s just getting the right shades right? I wanted the stamping to be really delicate and I think the image is delicate enough, I just don’t know if it is too abstract. What do you think?

That gradient is absolutely perfect… love it!
I’m not sure about the stamping though. To me it looks a bit too delicate… but maybe that’s just on this side of the monitor and it looked great on your nails 🙂
Joyce recently posted…Surprise manicure!

Thank you so much! I see what you’re saying about the stamping. I should’ve maybe gone for a gold or dark grey stamping and that would’ve been better.
