It was so good to have a weekend filled with a bit more relaxing. The last few weeks have been quite busy and finally it calmed down a bit. How was your weekend? I think I am ready for this week. It’s a short one again 😀

So this week is plaid. I kinda wish I had kept that red holo plaid I did a few weeks ago for this prompt but when I got going I had a completely different idea. I knew I wanted to use dark blue / navy with a red. I wanted to pair it with white but every time I tried a different pattern the white seemed a little too white or stark. So I played around till I got what I wanted. Let me show you,
I started with 2 coats of Tip Top – In the navy on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then used BPL-041 and China Glaze – Intelligence, integrity & courage for the light. I then used Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Reddish to make the thinner red lines. I topcoated and then used a matte topcoat.
I really enjoyed wearing this and it’s the first time I do a plaid with blue. I liked it more than I thought I would. What do you think? What’s your favourite plaid colour combo? I want to try yellow, grey and black combo next.

My favorite plaid colors? Probably white, dusty pink and bronze gold (which I happen to have done a while ago, but that totally has nothing to do with it of course 😉 )
