Hey guys,
Are you having a good week so far? Mine has gone by so quickly I can barely register what is going on.
I often have an explanation of how I came up with an idea for nail art but today I can’t even tell. you how. I had an idea to do something with metallic and matte and I thought a geometric image would look good. Once I chose the metallic colour I was immediately drawn to this base colour because I remember how gorgeous the flakies were. So let me show you,
I started with 2 coats of Dollish Polish – The wolf man on all my nails. While that was drying I started with the stamping. I stamped using BM-605 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then used China Glaze – Swatch out to fill in a few sections of the image. Once it was dry I applied it to my middle and ring finger and topcoated everything. I then went in with a matte topcoat to really make those flakies pop.
I really really love this polish. It is quite an unusual colour and the flakies are just gorgeous. They pop even more in matte. Of course I am a sucker for a matte metallic so I love that part too. What do you think?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
That base is just autumn in a bottle!!
And consider this beauty marked for recreation… I have had my eyes on that image for ages and now I finally know what to do with it 🙂
