Hey guys,
I actually can’t believe it is weekend already even though I am very ready for it. Did you have a good week? It is also starting to get really chilly now (or at least what us Durbanites would call chilly) and I am loving it!
Here we are again with another Friday Triad with Juanita and Joyce . So once a month we will make turns choosing someones nail art to use as inspiration for this post. You can look forward to these posts on the last friday of each month. This month it was Juanita’s turn to choose and she NAILED it by choosing this gorgeous design by our very own Joyce. These two ladies feature heavily on my inspo list so I am thrilled that I get to do one today. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of Dollish Polish – Scrape ’em off Claire on my index and middle finger, 2 coats of Colour Club – Antiquated on my ring finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – Sample sizing me up on my pinky. While that was drying I did the chevron bit on my mani mat. I used the Because I Shop – Sharpie vinyls to make them using Sinful Colors – Dark room, China Glaze – Sample sizing me up and Colour Club – Antiquated. Once it was dry I applied it to my middle finger. I then stamped on my ring finger using BPL-029 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated and voila!
I loved the colour combination of the original but I knew I wanted to change the colours a bit. I actually really like how the blue works with this. I wish my chevrons were a little smaller like hers but hey. What do you think? I am very excited to see what the other ladies create and how Joyce is going to do it so don’t forget to pop over to Juanita and Joyce to see their epic versions.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
