Hey guys,
It’s been quite a long week and I am thrilled it is finally weekend. How was your week?
I am a big fan of Sinful Colors nail polish and at one point we were getting the new collections in so often. Unfortunately there were some changes and we only had the Sinful Shine polishes. Imagine my surprise when I saw the naughty nudes collection in store. I can’t explain how excited it makes me to think we might be getting some new collections in again. Sinful Colors has such great variety, quality and super affordable. Unfortunately they also sell out pretty fast so I was only able to grab 4 polishes from this collection (and luckily my favourite 4) but let me show you what I have.
Sinful Colors – Body language
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a dark chocolatey brown with a green shimmer. The shimmer is gorgeous and even though not super evident, give the polish a nice flash of colour in some angles and light. It’s also a gorgeous formula and opacity.
Sinful Colors – Copper a feel
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a a gorgeous burnt orange / nude shade packed with gold flakies. This is definitely my favourite. It’a absolutely beautiful and very striking. The flakies are very visible but even the base colour is gorgeous. Beautiful!
Sinful Colors – Skin-tillating
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a dark jelly base with multi chrome shimmer. It shifts between teal, blue and purple. You can see this easier in the bottle in my photos but it definitely translates to the nail as well. I am surprised by this shade in a ‘nudes’ collection but very pleasantly surprised. It’s beautiful and so easy to work with.
Sinful Colors – Skinny dip
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This s a dark jelly base packed with gold, copper and Burgundy shimmer. it applies well and has great coverage. Unfortunately this just looks very dark. The shimmer doesn’t show up as well unless you’re in the sun. It’s perfect for a ‘black but not quite black’ look but the shimmer isn’t going to be as obvious. It’s a pity because it’s really beautiful. When I applied it I couldn’t stop looking at it but as it dried it just became darker and darker. I don’t regret it though because I will definitely still be using it.
These are the only 4 shades I grabbed although there are 5 more. I hope I will be able to see them somewhere to grab a few more. What do you think? Do you have aa favourite? It seems these ‘nudes’ collections are very in at the moment and I am loving it! My 12 piece nude collection I got last year is still one of my favourites so I am loving all the nude trends. Let me know what you think of these and if you want to see any comparisons.
Thanks for reading,
Juanita
TBH I’m not a huge fan of these as “nudes”. With that said Copper a feel is pretty!
Michelle Roberts
Not all of them are really nudes but it does cover a lot of skin tones. But I think it’s more a twist on nudes than meant to be actual nudes. The ones I didn’t pick up are more general nude shades but thanks to that Shades of Nudes collection I have so many already. Copper a feel is my favourite!
