Hello lovelies,
Another blink of an eye and it is Friday again. How has your week been? Are you looking forward to the weekend?
I am in a bit of a slump with my nails at the moment. I am either lacking inspiration or I need some new goodies. As much as I want to say I definitely need some new goodies to play with I think I am just lacking inspiration. Or motivation. Maybe as my nails get longer again I will do better. In the mean time, I did do some simple nail art. Let me show you,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Just a little embellishment on my pinky and index and 2 coats of China Glaze – Minimalist momma on my ring and middle finger. Once that was completely dry I stamped the first layer of the twigs using Born Pretty Store – BP-L047 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then stamped the twig with open bits and filled it in using China Glaze – Just a little embellishment. I applied that over the black one. I topcoated and then went in with a matte topcoat.
I was surprised by how much I liked this. I think the teal is so gorgeous already (I really love this polish, it has a matte finish that is gorgeous but the colour is perfect) and the nude just works. I wasn’t sure how the twig-like image would work but I think it is great. What do you think?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
LOVE IT!! This is absolutely a Joyce-manicure and rest assured that it will show up on my nails (be it with different colors and a different plate as I own neither of the ones you used 😉 )
