Wow this weekend flew by! I am not sure I am ready for Monday but here I am anyway. Did you have a good weekend?

The prompt this week is winter / summer. It is obviously depending on which hemisphere you are on but basically you can do either. I definitely chose winter as we are in winter now but I do so love summer shades. We don’t really get very cold here and I wish it did because I would love to be able to wear all the chunky knits and coats that come with icy cold winter weather. So obviously, I used that as inspiration. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of Essence – Tip top taupe on my index and middle finger and 2 coats of Essence – You and me on my pinky and ring finger. I then stamped using Harunouta L027 from Born Pretty Store and Mundo de Unas – Light grey. I then filled in the knitted image using Essence – You and me. I then placed this on my index and middle finger. I added a coat of Essence – My sparkling darling on my ring finger, topcoated and once it was dry I added a matte topcoat to my index and middle finger.
I had initially stamped with black and I thought it was a bit too harsh. I redid it and considered dark grey and light grey. I settled on light grey but I think the dark grey might’ve been better to make it more visible. It is quite subtle but I liked it enough to keep it. What do you think? What is your favourite season? I am definitely a winter girl because I don’t like heat but I do love summer colours.
