Hey hi hello,
I hope you have had a spectacular week and the weekend is everything you need it to be. Mine needs to be a little relaxing and that is just what I am going to do.
Yup, I am back with some flowers. I did try and hide it by not using flower in the title of this post so that counts right? ;). It’s not super floral though so let’s look at the gradients :P. I mentioned earlier this week that I love winter but I also love Summer colours and this is why. Bonus points that the #52weeknailchallenge this week was winter / summer so I thought I’d add something summery in this week too. This also started as a swatch of polish I really wanted to wear. So let me start with that.
China Glaze – Glow-worthy
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a bronze-ish or gold brown with holographic glitter. This is really gorgeous and applied really well and evenly. It was a little sheer on the first coat but built up really well on the second. This is really gorgeous and one of my favourites from the Body & Sol collection (which is available in my shop of you’re in SA and want to grab it) Let me show how I used it,
I started with 1 coat of China Glaze – Blanc out on my index and middle finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – Glow-worthy on my pinky and ring finger. Once it was all dry I did a sponged gradient on my index and middle finger using China Glaze – Metro pollen-tin and China Glaze – Peonies & park ave. I topcoated the gradient and then stamped the flowery image using Lina – Totally negative 01 and Mundo de Unas – Bronze. I topcoated everything and that was that.
I actually really liked this. The gradient is so bright and summery and I really like the orange part where the pink and yellow meet. I’m a little bummed that the floral part of the stamping isn’t super visible but eh. Do you think it works with the bronze?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
I love the bronze! I adore that gradient!! The stamped you picked is gorgeous!!!
But together… not sure. It’s pretty but the little voice in my head is urging me to try this over a white base… must be the boring me that I usually hide inside 😉

Hahahaha I don’t think you have a boring side. I think you might be onto something with the white base though. I could’ve done some gradient and some bronze and then the stamping on a plain base. I am making notes for next time 😉
