52 week nail art challenge – Week 34: Metallic

I hope you had a spectacular weekend. Mine went by way too fast and it was also super hot. I am not ready for summer yet. Let’s hope this week is super productive and just great!

Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio.  As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.Image

The prompt this week is metallic and I do love me some metallic. Unfortunately I got a bit in my head and eventually couldn’t even decide on which metallic to use. In the end I decided on an old favourite combination. Let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of OPI – Push & shove on my pinky and 2 coats of OPI – 4 in the morning on the rest of my nails. Once it was all dry I stamped on my index and middle finger using Line – Make your mark 01 and OPI – Push & shove. I topcoat everything and then went in with a matte topcoat on my ring finger.

I really like a monochrome look and this is also a really pretty metallic/ chrome that has the bonus of stamping well too. What do you think? I was torn between something really colourful and then this monochrome-esque look. I ended up going with an old favourite but I think I should do something colourful too 🙂
