Spring daisies

I hope your week is going well. Mine seems to be flying by again. I either need a few more hours in a day or a really long holiday 😉

With spring being just around the corner I couldn’t help myself when I saw these two polishes and got a very spring vibe. Let me just say, I am not ready for spring. Here in Durban we really have winter and summer and I am definitely a winter girl. It feels like the cool months just flew by and I hope it lingers a little longer. Anyway, back to the nails. Like I said I couldn’t resist doing a bit of a spring look. Let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of Jessica – White hot on my pinky and index and 2 coats of Jessica – Mint blossom on my middle and ring finger. Once that was all dry I stamped on my middle and ring finger using Lina – Spring 01 and Mundo de Unas – White. I then used Jessica – Yellow lightning to make the little dots in the middle of the flowers. I topcoated the stamped nails and kept the texture textured.

I actually didn’t like these photos. I think the white made my skin look a bit weird (on the photos, not in real life) so I almost didn’t want to post this but in the end I thought the flowers were cute enough to risk it. My focus is always on the colour of the polish and not really on my skin colour but sometimes it is all I can see. Anyway, I just love this mint shade and the white texture is also really nice. It’s not super thick and chunky which is nice. What do you think? Is it spring like? What is your favourite season?
