52 week nail art challenge – Week 37: Holographic

Did you have a good weekend? I swear I blinked and it was over. That’s not a bad thing except I wouldn’t have minded a bit more ‘off’ time. Here we are though, ready to take on the week.

The prompt this week is Holographic. Once again, I had a million ideas. At first I wanted to go all holographic and just rainbow bomb but then I started thinking that I wanted to pair it with a creme polish. Eventually the idea struck. Let me show you what I did

I started with 3 coats of ILNP – Mega on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then used Because I Shop – Deep V vinyls on my middle and ring finger and applied China Glaze – Flip flop fantasy, making sure to remove the vinyls before the polish dries. I topcoated and that was that.

I really enjoyed how this tuned out. You can’t really go wrong with a silver holographic right? Of course, the neon was so neon that it freaked my camera out and the holo so holo it was lost in the chaos. Here is a flash shot to really show you the holo
