Hey guys,
Phew it has been a week. Such a short one but packed with so much. How was your week? Are you ready for the weekend?
It’s time for another Friday Triad with Juanita and Joyce . So once a month we will make turns choosing someones nail art to use as inspiration for this post. You can look forward to these posts on the last friday of each month. This month it was Joyce’s turn to choose and she chose this design by Anastasiya from @nail_muse. It is absolutely gorgeous and I just fell in love with the colours. I did immediately know I wanted to change the colours though. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of OPI – Music is my muse on my pinky and index and 1 coat of OPI – Don’t Bossa Nova me around on my ring and middle finger. I then pulled out my mani mat and used 2 coats of OPI – It’s a boy and then put blobs of OPI – Music is my muse and OPI – Don’t Bossa nova me around. I then used a small dotting tool to swirl the blobs into line type things. I left that on my mat to dry completely and then placed them on my middle and ring finger. I topcoated everything and voila!
I really really loved the inspiration but I was really nervous about pulling it off. In the end I really liked how this turned out. A lot more than I expected. I didn’t think I would get anything like this out of my attempts 😉 What do you think? I can’t wait to see what the other ladies come up with so pop over to Juanita and Joyce to see their versions.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce

I love the colours!! It’s so bright!
Great job on getting such clear lines. Did you struggle at all??

Thank you so much!! I actually had so much fun. I didn’t really struggle although I did do 5 sets on my mat and picked the best 2 from there. But it was fun! xx
