Hey guys,
I hope you had a fantastic weekend. Mine was quiet and relaxing and now I am ready to take on the week. Here’s hoping it is just a normal week!
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.Image
The prompt this week is stars. I actually did these randomly for another day and when I opened my planner to see what the prompt for today was I saw Stars and what do you know, I already did it. So I just switched some stuff around and here we are. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of OPI – You’re the shade that I want on my index and middle finger and 2 coats of OPI – Danny & Sandy 4 ever on my pinky and middle finger. While that was drying I stamped using Lina – Make your mark 02 and Mundo de Unas – Silver. I then used Danny & Sandy 4 ever to colour in the stars. Once everything was dry I placed the stars on my index and middle finger, topcoated and tah-dah!
I actually also have swatches for you of these two polishes.
OPI – You’re the shade that I want
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a hot magenta pink creme with a great formula and such great opacity it is almost a one coater. It’s really pretty and I can’t wait to see how this one stamps.
OPI – Danny & Sandy 4 ever
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a charcoal grey base packed with silver shimmer and a hint of violet / blue shimmer as well. This is really beautiful. It’s a little sheerer than I expected on the first coat but really builds up well on the second. Great formula to work with. Both of these are from the Grease collection.
What do you think of my stars? I wish my camera didn’t hate pink as much because it is such a beautiful shade.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
I like it! And looking at that pink, your camera isn’t too much off… my bottle looks about the same. Maybe it’s your monitor settings 😉

Thank you! I think the pink alone is good but the minute it was paired with the other polish it looks a bit off.
